just bought the richard d james album

hmm.. it's pretty neat, but in a lot of the songs there is static going on in some parts, and weird annoying fuzz, it's kind of annoying.

so is it supposed to be like this?

i was tired kay.

my CD copy of ICBYD (along with a bunch of pre-RDJ Album stuff) has tons of clipping. It gives it character, kinda.

RDJ album has a tape-clipping sort of sound too.

melodies from mars should be published btw.
