xanopticon's psicicite

it's damn good. but.. after listening to psicicite & liminal space back-to-back a few times, psicicite seems more shallow & it definitely has less of the great post-apocalyptic industrial mood of liminal space. the sound itself is alot less clear & defined than liminal space... not as sharp and wide.. but that's a problem with alot of hymen 12"....

 

it still is the very knees of the bees & comes highly recommendaterised.

I think its sad that Xanopticon has shown his face. I liked it when I didn't know who made this shit. Wicked name though. I must admit his shit is about as extreme as it gets.

yeah this stuff is amazing, i really dont think ive heard xanopticon until now. Wai of Isolate was always talking about releasing something of his, now im definitly going to pick something up by him. The closest thing ive heard to this sound is the belgian artist Undacova

He played the UK a few months back. I wish I'd put him on at my night.

Xanopticon is awesome. The songs from his new release are amazing and I really like the way he's going with his arrangements. I liked the abstract structure of "Liminal Spaces", but his newer stuff is some of the best aggressive beat oriented music I've ever heard. Anyone who likes hard/aggressive electronic music needs to check this guy out.

i like hard agressive beats and this guy just desn't cut it for me at all, i get bored right away with his music

Perfect release.Aggression,complexity,emotion.The pinnacle of breakcore.This release is bit more danceable than liminal space in my opinion,it s less abstract

and has more drive.Amazing headbanging electronic music.I love Xanopticon.

yeah perfect album, takes me back 2 the good old days of breakcore parties in belgium, my jaw!

hope he'll release some new material soon, been a while. xanopticon rules

the newest thing he's released to my knowledge is his remix of Nommo Ogo

he has a lot of material that as far as i know is not released yet. He's also working on a more dancey project that's still fucking crazy with Dementia which name escapes me right now. I'll see if i can find the live recording they did together and post it here

Those live excerpts are pretty great.

I know while I don't fully understand the intricacies behind releasing music, I know that I also don't understand how people go on making things for years at a time without releasing anything. One would think I'd be used to it by now given the staple names on this forum, but I'm still not.
