using sysex in Max: Who Can Read MIDI Specs Gud?

I would assume your box transmits sysex? Have you tried just recording the parameter change from your synth, and then modifying the recorded message to your needs? That's usually what I do instead of trying to figure it all out; have the thing do it for me. Done it in Max plenty of times...

good idea, i have heard of slipping a sysformat in where a midiin is on a seq to watch what happens
