k, im posting this on a friends account cos for some reason it wont let me post with mine. perhaps theres a cooldown after u register, i dunno.

 

anyway. ive got a lot of stuff to upload if people like this but for now ill just post 3 different quick tracks.

 

dont wanna blow my load too early.

inverse_acid.mp3 (ive not mastered this as i may do more in future. its a sort of 2-step, acid, breakbeat, thing. funky too.)

 

ambient1sunday.mp3 (self explanitory title. long ambient track, ends on a high. i know theres key clashes.)

 

bioptic_magaloof.mp3 (just started this today, so its just the core of the track atm. im open to suggestions. its kind of like 90's techno with love-chords and and twangy oldskool acid line. gabba kicks!)

funky, bit sparse soundwise for the first few minutes, but you build it up probably as this is 6 min + track. Wish you'd variate those melody stabs more, as now they just groove for 3 minutes, mute and come back in. Yeah mate, imo theres nothing really that interesting going on, some nice beats sure, but 6 minutes is to long.

 

thanks for the feedback. i was thinking the same thing about those chord stabs. but the track itself is fairly minimal. the variation in parts comes from the smaller additions. and it is a tad long yeh :) something im often guilty of.

ambient acid i like too (particularly the 1st half which really reminds me of Forlon's Esh Interlude)

 

both need more bass...the cheap sub on my housemates pc was on maxi full mega blast and it sounded fine

...which just doesn't ever happen
