adobe soundbooth

Has anyone tried the adobe soundbooth preview? I just switched from PC to a macbook and need something like audition for multitrack recording but can't find anything that fits the bill...

has anyone tried logic pro for this type of thing? I downloaded it and it looks fucking well difficult for recording real instruments...

logic pro has an extremely steep learning curve. maybe give this a go with ableton?

seriously for a second... have you tried garageband? it has i'd say like 70% of the features of audition.

I haven't even looked at it yet - has it got compressors and equalisers etc?
