just felt like making something that sounds badass, dirty, fucked up, crazy, mad, cool, distorted.

the inhuman amount of compression is intentional

I think this would sound alot better if:

a) the bassline wasn't compressed to the point of destroying any hamonic content

and

b) the levels were adjusted such that the entire song was not slamming into the headroom nonstop

your snares could be a lot nastier and dirtier, they're kinda muddy in the mix. some nasty sounds that come in later on in the track that are pretty cool. yeah if you could open those snares up into some higher frequency ranges it'd be pretty boss. still i think you were pretty successful in what you were trying to accomplish, even though in this case your marketing skills have surpassed the actual quality of product :wink2:

I agree, but on a positive note, if you remedy that situation, you'd have a kick ass jam that I'd listen to in the car anytime. Congrats.
