electric guitar ambient

just bought this extremely cheap crap electric guitar and pissed about with it for a while.

you sold this pretty badly. i almost didn't click. but i'm glad i did. lovely piece of music. this should be on that label with the future guitar boast name. very nice

I'm without headphones right now (just using crap speakers) so I can't comment in depth on the mix itself, but I like the vibe. Naked, simple, has a spotaneity to it. Very desolate sound. The mp3 just kind of crapped out at the end, not sure if that was an encoding prob or what --maybe fade it or leave a reverb trail.

nice pads. i like the trashy guitar sound but all this erratic scale noodling combined with the reverb makes it sound kinda "esoteric" to me - like one of those cheesy "chillout" cds that you get in the supermarket.

anyway, a fun listen it was :)

Not bad for 'pissed about with it for a while'. A little random and unstructured but yeah pretty pleasant I'd say. Reminded me a little of Labradford and other post-rock combos. Keeping working on it 'cause I love this sort of vibe.
