Building kits in garage band?

I just figured out how to transfer vinyl onto my computer, and I want to make some beats. I only have Renoise and Garage band on my computer. Renoise is incredibly confusing, and Garage band is too limited for what I'm trying to do. Is there free sequencing software online that's a little easier to work with than Renoise, or should I just try to get better with Renoise?
