Guest Glass Plate
yeah, neat. I'm glad to see that the guy in charge of innovating their stuff is a dumb ass. ten fingers ten toes
I think any stupidity might be because this was on DIY Its like when I have to explain my job to people who don't know much about how the internet works. It ends up sounding stupid, because I don't have a well practiced way of explaining what I do in laymans terms. Guest Dr. Elemeno von Hat X: PhD
yeah. also kind of bugged me that they were all "WE BUILD EVERYTHING HERE, now let me take this fully assembled PCB off the shelf." that is something many small companies do (outsource most of the subassemblies, then put them together in-house), but they shouldn't be harping on the hand-made label really... because access or novation probably builds theirs the same way, just with a lot less effort for tuning and shit... but, that's a minor gripe. i enjoyed seeing the factory, most of the people, and the innards of the moog. I wish it was still bob moog. Yeah, the whole "handmade" gimmick, does seem a little off to me. They didn't seem to even make the cases them selves, it's like buying a lego kit and putting it together "dude, it's hand made" Edited December 31, 2006 by Glass Plate Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/16269-building-a-minimoog-voyager/#findComment-332929 Share on other sites
