modes / scales

i was thinking what sets boc apart from their nearest counterparts, and i reckon its their melodies - anyone recognise any special modes or scales that are common to their songs? i've heard some whole-tone / hexachord melodies that sound similar but i'm not sure.

what's with the hexagon thing, anyways?

i appreciate geometric primitives as much as the next mathematically inclined chap, but i never held them in any special regard. maybe i need to melt my brain with psychoactive substances?

My my, maybe that was common knowledge, but being from the states I was never exposed to "blockbusters." Blockbusters track name from Old Tunes + Turqoise hexagons for the win. Cool.

it seems like they detune different sounds and combine them numerously to create new sounds in the waveform!!??
