BCM
nicely produced, nice sounds. melodies were borning and repetetive and i felt that the song was not very original. too slow for my tastes. not that into it, but i'm sure a lot of people will be as you obviously know what you're doing. i just feel this suffers from a lack of sparkle and originality and is just so SLLLLOOOOWWWW..... Guest Skinko
A slow burner. I really dug it although I wasn't sure i would at first. Good work! Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/16861-loafeye-untitled1/#findComment-344998 Share on other sites
Guest TEXX
Not really going anywhere. Everything sounds nice, but i don't really feel any change, or "hook". That doesen't mean that there isn't one, but i didn't register much of anything, as nothing really grabbed my attention. Guest awkward
this could use a really heavy bassline underneath. really rattling. uuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh uuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh its a nice start to a piece but as everyone says it needs development. those repeated keys get a little too much towards the end. add more elements, maybe go into a new section and definetely get that bass in there. lo-fi
I worked on this track for roughly an hour before uploading it for crits. I appreciate them all. I have been away from YLC for a while and wanted to see what type of response I could get. The track has changed quite abit, since I uploaded it. I love creating "slow build" tracks. Thanks again for the response. I agree 100% with the bass part. Get a real deep dubby bassline there and you're set to go Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide all signatures Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/16861-loafeye-untitled1/#findComment-348960 Share on other sites

lo-fi
thanks for the thoughtful crits everyone.....the track has evolved quite a bit since I put the original up on Myspace.....I have been trying different basslines per the suggestion by some of you and there will most likely be one in the final revision of the song. I also added a second melody to make it a little less repetitive.(though I prefer listening to and creating repetitive music) Thanks again guys.
