you have a Capybara?

(some samples sound v interesting)

yes i do im an elite hardcore super-audiofag nerd

i plan to do more kyma additions in the future, for right now this is just spectral morphing stuff. I loaded in a bunch of my own sounds that the user can morph (spectral portamento) into eachother.

2. do we get that tabla slicin' patcher or just a video of it?

you get the patch that does video beat slicing but it does not come with any videos, shit i should have thought about that before i pressed it, oh well ill put some sample videos on the site. Its basically just a patch that reads a quicktime file with audio, detects the percussion hits and lets you retrigger those hits with midi or via a randomly generated/sequential internal sequencer. You dont need anything besides maxmsp + jitter to use it.

here is a sample vid of me kicking a bunch of boards and shit around a construction site beat sliced

http://www.recordlabelrecords.org/ss.mov

i need to put a better video up because this simply does not show what this patch is truely capable of. It can make some pretty poppy commercial looking shit if you use it right.

be sure to call the album 'The Iraqi Beheadings'

next one will be close to that concept. It will be called "How to make an al queda training video in 15 minutes or less"

here are some pics from the inside booklet

(warning: these pictures in no way are meant to be represented as actual al queda training footage, they are parodies and costumes photographed in Arizona where the assault weapons pictured are indeed legal)

step1: go to thrift store by desert army fatigues plus black ski masks (Halloween executioner mask works too), robes

step2: go to desert that looks rocky possibly compared to Afghanistan

step3: go somewhere where assault weapons are legal (AZ pictured here)

step4: dress in thrift store clothing cleverly arranged to look "terrorist"

step5: walk around in said locations wearing costume acting like you are training for something
