Can you route Traktor 3 through effects VSTs?

Recommended Posts

Say I wanted to run db Glitch or Buffer Override over the audio output of Traktor 3... how would this be possible?

I find the onboard effects in Traktor fun but quite limiting...

if somehow you could put Traktor in a VST shell you could use it in a program like Blogue Bidule or Energy XT to put itself through a VST fx chain. All the other NI products have a VST mode, im just not sure though if Traktor does. Maybe with a hack?

depends on your soundcard, if youve got something with a decent software mixer and multiclient drivers

you should be able to send audio from traktor to record channel of cubase then add whatever fx you want on those...

then send that to lots of groups and cut either high/lo/mid eq on those and have different fx on each group then send that back thru ablive into oblivion :undecided:

Forget it. Seriously I can officially say Traktor ain't worth the time or hassle. I can definitely say that Ableton is worth the time and the hassle and yes you can most certainly run db Glitch within Ableton. Ableton is a million times superior to Traktor. Traktor is a toy compared to Ableton as a DJ tool.
