hmm??? quite curious about it, i never heard those black dog oldies, but as i keep coming back to the fantastic Bytes album, it must be really worth getting!!! great news.

[ah ah, same with me about "stop buying tons of music" for a while:: plus a 3CDs box of Touch Live 25 material (fennesz/p.jeck/bjnilsen) very soon..]

Not long now until this bad boy gets released.Bleep has it up for preview and f**k me does it sound good.

Cant wait!

nope. nothing new but CD format, and thats only for the first disc. But "Tactile" on a real CD...dreams really can come true.

this should not be on the second page.

almost certainly in my top 10 of 2007 unless god releases a double album or something. it's well named cos this is a document of how we got where we are as regards electronic music, to a degree. neither plaid nor that other bloke topped their output around this time, ever.

this sounds like an airplane landing on a minefield

How does it compare to Plaid's Trainer (which is the shit)? Thought I read somewhere that Trainer was originally supposed to be a 3-disc of early Plaid and Black Dog-related productions, but the other dude assed out. So maybe these are some of the those tracks that never made it onto Trainer?

Yeah I loved Trainer too, had some absolute classics on that.

Got this about a week back and I really like it, but still think Spanners is my fave.

"So not really that serious, but like stage serious. Like in a Broadway show about AIDS only AIDS is being played by a giant banana that makes duck sounds."

warning though, the track listing is messed up for CD 1. its been corrected at Discogs

none of the extra stuff that was going to be on Trainer is on this. the extra trainer stuff was the two EPs that were on Rising High...the Black Dog Productions EP and the Parasight EP. there was no assing out by Ken as he had nothing to do with Trainer. story was that no one from Rising High could be contacted to get a license.

both releases are the shit. it just jerks me off that Soma fucked up the tracklisting for Book of Dogma so bad. so much for acting like they respect the work.
