Guest Wall Bird
So I recently bought myself a pair of Tannoy Reveal 6s. Now I need to find myself a reasonable amplifier to power each of them. They are 50-100w with an impedance of 8 ohms. Are there any other factors I should consider when looking for an amp? Does anyone know of a simple and relatively cheap amp that could do the job well? I'm a bit new to this, so it's harder to make a good decision. Thanks for your help. I appreciate it. Guest iep
i'd get a cheap 2nd hand amp if i were you. its not really worth it to hook up a high-end flat & fancy amp to those speakers. most regular cookie-cutter hi-fi amps will do fine as long as they are somewhat flat (ofcourse, make sure you turn all 'loudness' or other equalizer/booster stuff off).
