thankfully i already own both blu-ray and hd-dvd players ... lol

i was under the impression that it was a dual-disc/2-dvd thing, like where you didn't have to buy either the regular or hd version, but both were included ... this might not be the case though

dont mean to side track the thread but besides this NIN release what other Blue-ray dvds were filmed using HD digital video? A lot of the 35mm film to DVD blue ray conversions ive seen arent very impressive, i always hoped corporations would start releasing stuff filmed originally in HD.

what is the consensus view of And All That Could Have Been? the dvd rocked my world for awhile, all i really needed to see was the the frail/la mer/the great below.

Seeing the with_teeth tracks played live alongside the old stuff,

makes them seem not so sterile and new and different, but really a part of the canon.

This dvd is great.

It's getting me really stoked for the Oslo gig in April.

I got this yesterday. It was nice to hear some of the tracks that they don't usually play live! And it's also nice that they left all of the guitar noise and mistakes in there, sounds more raw. However, Trent's voice is getting worse.

I still don't want to go see them on this tour though, I saw them in 2000 and that was enough.

i cant imagine ever wanting to see nine inch nails do another conventional concert. maybe if trent teamed up with another artist something interesting would happen.

yeah. i'd love it if he escaped the traditional rock band setup and tried something minimal and experimental, yeah like a collaboration.. ahah reznor + peter gabriel + drummer playing a clean set would be awesome. considering they've briefly collaborated before it's not entirely ridiculous.
