I heard that they hated the label they were on so much and just met the time limit they needed on the album they had to turn in .

Thats just irritating releasing garbage for their fans. I guess they did the same with Drums not dead though

If it's true, then it's great. I like my albums short and snappy, and I absolutely adore this album. If you don't want to listen to it turn it off and put something else on. I'd much rather 20 mins of disposable repetition to another 3-5 tracks of filler.

It beats littering a huge discography with numerous, shoddy live albums. i.e The Fall
