Guest IdironBoomtracks
i love orchestral shiznit but am sick and tired of the mediocre or just downright unrealistic sounds i have. i am a jaded composer, and would like to know the best orchestral vst to buy*? *d/l a warez copy of Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/1741-best-orchestral-vst/ Share on other sites
Guest Iain C
Synful Orchestra sounds good. Well, its strings do, the wind instruments are pretty poo. There's a 14 day free trial with no usage limits so it's worth a try with no warez required. Guest ezeh
Quote East West Quantum Leap has great strings, I only have the solo strings because I don't fancy big orchestras, but the sound is fantastic. VSL Horizon strings are more flexible but you have to learn how to use the giga format and the VSL performance tool if you really want to get into articulations, I've had VSL for a while but haven't had the need to really learn how to use it, since for the time being I'm fine with how simple EWQL stuff is with their Kontakt interface. Here's a sample of EWQL unconfigured, just Cello and Violin passed through some mastering plugins. happy music. those strings sound fantastic. thanks. Guest IdironBoomtracks
yeah, thanks for the strings, but i think the orkester.rfl that comes with reason already caters for those well - im talking about the full works - like realistic oboes, bassoons and those big fat timpany drums (sp?). ill check out edirol and synful.
