Tracklist:

1 The Thue-Morse Sequence

2 Where Dreams Go To Die

3 Get Down

4 Wandering

5 Better Off

6 Still The Same

7 Requiem For A City

It's finally finished. We've been working hard on this, and I'm quite proud of how it turned out. Several of the songs feature guitar work by my buddy Josh. The rest are just all my composition. There's very little electronic music wankery to be found here, just breakbeats, arpeggiated melodies, and lots & lots of reverb. Enjoy!

PS The sound engineer at work is going to be mastering the album with me. Afterwards, I'm going to get a pressing of the CD, and make high quality artwork for it. If all goes according to plan, there'll be a super pro deluxe version available sometime in the near future, probably for a low price like $10 or something. For those who don't want to pay though, you get the amateur mastering version (by me) available right here in this thread, for free. :D

I'm listening right now, and quite enjoying The Thue-Morse Sequence. This is great because I'm alone at work tonight so I can actually play good music and I was looking for some. Thanks!

Thanks for listening guys! Just keep in mind this is kind of a beta version. I'm thinking for the final version the track order might be different, and I might give it a different name. Not sure yet.

I think Wandering was my favorite, finished listening a little while ago. Really enjoyed it man. The echoing piano elemnts reminded me alot of Orbital, without sounding like a copy. My only complaint is that I beleive all of the tracks open with essentially the same short build-up from near zero volume, which tends to interrupt the flow a bit, but maybe that's just my taste.

A+ album man. I played a few songs for my brother who is a fan of Explosions in the Sky and he loved the epic feel to the tracks.

i cant wait for the final version.

Yeah the final version won't have the large gaps in between the tracks, they'll flow together better. I'm gonna do that after they're mastered though.

I decided on this order for the tracklist:

1 Still The Same

2 Better Off

3 Requiem For A City

4 Where Dreams Go To Die

5 Wandering

6 Get Down

7 The Thue-Morse Sequence

This way it opens up with a bang instead of a gradual build up, and I think the epic conclusion of The Thue-Morse Sequence works better as an album closer.

Thanks again for listening!

Well thanks for listening & your comments, everybody! :D I took down the zip, as we've now begun the final mastering process. Consider yourselves official beta testers.
