crossfade vst

does anyone know if there is a crossfade VST that can be loaded in pairs and that works by running 2 instances together to allow a crossfade between all the channels you have running through to crossfade VST part1 and all the channels you have going into VST part2? i'm not sure if it's easily possible to have communication between instances of VSTs to allow such linking up as would be necessary. err i hope i explained that well enough. basically i need something that can be inserted as a send and allow crossfading between multiple channels at once and i think it has to be implemented as i described unless i didn't think of some way its possible in one VST only.

Not that I know of, but Ableton can do crossfading between channels dead easily, with a nice little slider and all, it's worth checking out the demo if it's important to ya

yeah that's why i wanted this VST - it would allow me to mimic another useful feature of ableton using modplugtracker. i'm surprised one doesn't exist but its possible the VST specification does not allow for linking between plugins in such a fashion.

i think this wouldn't be too difficult to make

you could do it with one plugin as well, have a selector for all the ASIO channels split them up and have a big slider to fade between the two groups of channels
