R.C 20 XL Loop Station.

Hi guys, been a while since I posted on here. I was wondering if anyone could give me a bit of advice regarding said Loop Station. The problem I have is that the blasted thing he gone into some sort of backing track mode, not allowing the record option to be utilised leaving only play and overdub accesable by the left pedal. I have just bougt the thing a few days ago, and whilst I can see how useful it's going to be for me, when I get the hang of it, I just can't seem to sort this problem. The manual ain't much help. Any advice much appriciated. Cheers.

i've got three questions before i try to suggest something:

what mode are you attempting to record in?

did you buy it new or used?

have you thoroughly read the manual?

i've played around with this unit a good bit, but ultimately returned it since it couldn't tempo sync with any other gear (there actually isn't a good loop station that does this on the market...ridiculous). but, maybe i could still help you out.
