like the mood a lot, that obsessive piano thingy is great. the whole track seems a bit underdevelopped to me tho. has a great potential. didn't like the ending at all.

Very interesting, i quite liked it (even the ending!!!), i really dig the percussion especially the way you used that ride/crash. Maybe consider adding some bass?

Dude the part where all the drums first come together with the little shaky drill steps sounds JUST LIKE some old school ziq, the part before it goes quiet.

Yeah, this isn't the final cut, I was planning on adding some bass, and some other sounds, more variety in the drum rhythms, etc. I like it as is this, I really hope I can make a better final product. I can feel that I'm getting better though, I just wish I wasn't using fruity loops as the program I get good at, I dunno why, it just doesn't seem right.

It doesnt really matter what programs you are learning on, you are essentially teaching yourself universal music techniques that you will carry with you no matter what hardware/software you use in the future.
