ableton live question

hello,

i've been using live for quite a while. i recently got rid of my version 4 to have some v5 some dood gave me. now i got asked to do some radiomix session or some shit and i though it would be quite entertaining. now when i load the songs in the program. it changes the tempo of the file to the shown bpm at the left upper corner of the screen. that is quite annoying... sup with that ?? can I get rid of it or what ?? when i make a track with that program, i just set the bpm at the beggining and then everything works. help thx ?
