Dr Clitterhaus
Boring, yes. Pointless, yes. But it does have one of the biggest twists since The Crying Game when the hostage looks up at the end and you realise its a guy. Guest magic0801
ha ok, this is just supposed to be the opening to a film. so not alot is supposed to happen, it is being marked on different camera techniques, transitions etc. so yer. I just think the music i used came together well. The opening track used from selected ambient works is the best. mcbpete
Ugh, the lack of colour correction and poor lighting makes my eyes do a sad dance. It's all very cliché media studies-esque directed and that gets very boring quickly. Sorry I couldn't be more supportive man, it's just I've seen so many things like this in the past and it gets pretty tedious quite quickly. This is the first production i have had a hand in making, the lighting was an issue due to the time of day we were forced to film and the assholes i was made to work with. I basically did almost everything myself in the end. mcbpete
Hey at least you learnt the first lesson of media projects. People will fucking let you down  For my final year uni project I didn't trust anyone with schedules etc. so I did everyt'ing on my own, it was far less of a hassle. For the project I had a camcorder which I doubt was any higher spec. than for your project but with a likkle tweaking and post processing you can get some nice video from the lowest quality of cameras. I'm not saying that the below shots are great by any means (In fact a lot of the project I wasn't happy with in hindsight), but if you inject a little colour then at least its something interesting to watch: Best of luck though. I didn't want to put you down or anything, but I guess with stuff like this, honesty really is the best policy. Criticism is tough, but it really helps you develop in your work if you get feedback that you weren't really planning for. Guest joshier
I think there's a lot of negative comments because the video isn't fast paced... Personally I like fast paced stuff.. carry on though, your video is a bit like the first 10 music tracks you make, they are pap but the intention and mood is there. keep it up.
