Need some mastering/production feedback

it doesnt have vocals yet, so this is just a base track

any comments are most definately welcome, good or bad, basically im looking for someone to say, hey this sounds shit right here, or this is out of time.

the piano bits sound too "piano rolled" especially that really happy benny hill sounding part.

i prefer a bit muddier guitars, but thats just cause i like a grittier production.

masterings fine tis a nice metaphor too.

The drums sound very thin and very quiet and it doesnt really sound like everythings in the same place. Meaning the keys and guitar and vocals are kind of right up in your face and the drums and bass sound like theyre somewhere else. You could try setting up a reverb on an aux track and bus all the intstruments to it a little. The vocal needs to sit in with everything a bit better, try some chorus type effects (subtley).

I agree with everything you said. I mixed this together over the course of a few hours while intoxicated, and I ended uo not being able to work on it when i needed to and couldnt finish it. I will now though. Welcome to watmm btw.
