old Beak track from 1997

found this on an old CD of demos this morning as i was digging through stacks of old cds. i think this was the 3rd song i ever did, on a compaq pentium using the default windows wav editor and a really shitty mic. old skool. i called myself freshmouse back then. i think it's amazing how far technology has come since then; i remember havign to wait like 2 minutes after pasting a guitar loop in. like i'd paste, go off and play nintendo, come come back, paste something else, etc. mixing in stereo was out of the question. if an edit was particularly taxing on the computer then there was no undo option. good times!

was not expecting that, wow. the beak sound is fully evident and besides the bad sound quality this track is excellent. the main guitar melody is great. very impressive.

there are lots. and they are all equally as bad, some worse. they are embarassing and will remain undisclosed :)
