Guest ThePredator
I have an Oldworld mac G3 (yes the famous beige tower) sitting beside me, is there any good software (either using OS9 or I can stick Linux/NetBSD on it) that I can stick on it? Because otherrwise it will just get stuck with server duty and it is capapble of more than that. Guest iep
well here's a track i did last night using only the ACToolbox hooked up to waldorf's microwave synth and a sherman filterbank. ACToolbox just spat out midi data to the synth, controlling several parameters at once, based on iterations of (the attractor of) a roessler system, here it is: Your browser does not support the HTML5 audio tag http://ezrajacobs.net/benevelbrei.mp3 Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/18891-g3-mac/#findComment-473774 Share on other sites

Guest iep
hehe hij's leuk eh:) hier is nog een krakende rammeltrack, deze is wat vunziger, gemaakt zonder synths (shortwave radio only) Your browser does not support the HTML5 audio tag http://ezcid.net/x9eurazie.mp3 & had je m'n kyma tentamentrack al gehoord? Your browser does not support the HTML5 audio tag http://ezrajacobs.net/kyma3Rayleigh-mBurst.mp3 dnoyes: take a look at http://algorithmic.net .. it's like kvr-vst for generative software/techniques; a huge software database, plus also a shitload of articles about algorithmic composition, dating back to the 1950's.. topicstarter: i think maxmsp wasn't mentioned yet? you might have performance issues with synthesis stuff (msp) on your beige G3.. but hook up a midi interface, set up max, and you have yourself an excellent sequencer Edited July 15, 2007 by iep Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/18891-g3-mac/#findComment-492129 Share on other sites
