Guest ۞ Syntheme ۞
more fills than 'song', frenetic but rootless. Some nice sounds and effects though. Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/18966-more-awesomer/#findComment-387287 Share on other sites

Guest AugmaticDisport
Heh... "You have too much free fucking time on your hands"... True that. I like this stuff in small doses. I thought this track was pretty ass-kicking. Like the others said, really great effects/variations etc. Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/18966-more-awesomer/#findComment-387751 Share on other sites
Guest pantsonmyhead
i like tight basslines (see: snares) i'd rather the occasional gabber kick hit the subs for a more jarring listen I'm not trying to make straight up jungle or care if bitches wanna dance if the bassline got any fatter it would interfere with the drums frentic but rootless my ass go listen to boards of canada :jedi: Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/18966-more-awesomer/#findComment-388363 Share on other sites

Lol. Its been said a million times but you or anyone else shouldn't post if you can't respect folks views. Anyways very nice beat mangling but the bassline felt a bit lacking and I agree could have done with more omph and variation. And yes it could do with more of a solid theme to hold it together too. Overall pretty decent but musically it didn't really make me want to go spastic. Guest pantsonmyhead
i respect folks veiws...doen't mean i can't disagree with them honestly, some people hate my music....and I'm fine with that at least it moves people to react I'm not gonna loop some reverse harp over the track so kids can get their "i have a shitty sense of rhythm" groove on... what i don't get is the same people commenting on my tracks with essentially the same comment every time if you don't like my style why come back and listen to more I'm not gonna go buy the new chris clark hoping to hear some snares because i like snares if i hear a track in here and don't like it it's pretty doubtful i'll listen to more of the same some kids need their haterade... Guest yan_g
nice, lacks of melody for my taste, production skills v. good but maybe it lacks of originality. that's very well produced drilling, i couldn't do that for sure (and as i write this, the 2:41 mark is contradicting me with a fresh synth entering, then it all gets dark again, i wouldv'e appreciated some freshness but that mess is actually gorgeous, because it's dense. doesn't go far enough in the wicked side tho for me, gets a little repetitive towards the end. maybe i'll change my mind if i play it louder. very good programming skills anyway. agreed with forgot who: the bass could be fatter. Guest splagawaga
hahaha... looking forward to hearing this from reading what people have written. respect to the programmer the beat mashing and twisting is excellent. some fine skills. the eq changes and subtle panning are brilliant. but im gonna jump on the bandwagon with the others. that bass-line is weak. It just seems kind of senseless, and unsure. personally i'd scrap it and put something that does justice to the rest of the track. im sure this would go down well as a live tune. tub thumping gritty bangers n mash. i just dont like that bassline. Guest misspurkiss
nice an jugawackily but for the style of mentalism could kinda be a bit more mentalistic? agreeing that bassline holds it back and melodysynth bit repetitive.nice style &i would for sure go crazy to it if on a nice soundsystem when mashed but yeah a bit more something would be good..originality?
