a techno track in the aphex sets...

hello guys! if you look at this video:

what's the track rich plays at the beginning? i've heard it two times in his sets and still can't find out... i don't think it's his work (doesn't sound like aphex), maybe some older acid techno track, but i like it very much, especially the melody!

if someone could tell me the track name i would be very happy :smiling: !

sorry i have no idea.. maybe he's actually mixing differents trx at the beguining (ambient synths + beats) ask jacderrida is the best trainspotter here ; very nice trak by the way

well i'm pretty sure it's only ONE track, because he played the same several times and he mixes it in completely also in this set! i watched the whole set somewhere, and you can see that he's not mixing at that time. only doc scott's "vip drumz" comes later...

no that's not the first track my dear :wink2: ! this is just the title of the track richard mixes in after a time (btw the real name is "vip drumz" by doc scott)! but what's that techno tune...

you're right, i also enjoyed this one very much! i think it's sounds more like aphex than the first i'm interested in. maybe one part of his load of unreleased tracks.

he played that out last year with this one...

oh yeah that's the one from the torino show! absolutely gorgeous. but i don't think rdj will release this stuff, so the effect is better on his gigs. all people think "awesome, what's this track, it's great!!!" and will never find out how it's called !

there are rumours it is some unknown acid lp from hungary or some country in that neigboorhood.

so you probably can never find it :(

also cylob played it in one of his set but he never responded to my mail what it was was

and in the setlist that is online somewhere it was called mysteriously "unknown acid" so it kinda must be aphex or squarepusher
