Guest Promo Posted March 29, 2007 Report Share Posted March 29, 2007 (edited) Its a shame that one can't apply eq settings to actual individual tracks because I find that mp3s always tend to have some high knocked of them (unless they're 256 and upwards) and as a result usually require some extra hi eq and sometimes a track may even need a bass reduction. It'd be good to be able to link mp3s with certain eq settings just so they sound right. The alternative is just apply one's own eq settings and save the wav file although that's a bit of a fag. Certainly something I'd like to see as a feature for future Abletons with the compression in mp3s often being a problem. I tend to cut the bass frequencies on certain tracks when I mixing if I just want for example the melody but yeah I think I can work around it.
