dirado - keyboards

luke - guitar

me - drums

ash - bass

sam - trumpet

again, fully improvised.

I would like it a lot more if it were called the Road to El Darudo

Other than that, good work.

fuck off!

I love seeing "real" music on ekt. The live jams are great to put on and sit back with a couple of bong rips on the balcony and let the warm spring air drift over you while you pretend you are some kind of p.i in a movie from the 50's....maybe thats just me.

ahah, thanks! glad i can get some appreciation on a mostly electronic forum heh.

.. yeah, basically we have four other jams that have been cut down like this one, they'll be put together to make a small demo/ep to give to potential gig promoters etc.

i don't like the trumpet... i'm listening at work... and the dude in the other cubicle is like "what the fuck is that?"... so i turned it off!

not my thing.

i like your other stuff better!

ahah yeah our trumpet player (also synth player) hasn't played for a while, so he is working on getting better at it, if that's what you mean!

i listened to it a few more times... the music aint that bad... the trumpet was a bit distracting! the drums were cool (of course that was you :smiling: )

ahah thanks.. we do need to discipline everyone i think, my idea is for everyone to play minimal, subtle parts so it all comes together nicely, and nobody tries to showboat or take the lead unless it's absolutely necessary. also i need to get better at drumming, it's a little sloppy! though i've only been playing properly for about 6 months. usually i'm better when a little drunk though!

He's a worse trumpet player than Bogdan!

Otherwise this is grooves! Brass instruments never lend well to novices, heh. Its their ability to wail in an ear shreiking yet gut wrenching manner that does it I think. Still, this worked out quite well.

thankyou! i really should listen to more ekt tracks.

oh, he's not a novice but like i said, he hasn't played for a couple of years i think, so he's just getting his groove back so to speak, hehe.
