Guest smellybug
Anyone try using these two together? Any tips on getting the slice data off of phatmatik and into renoise for proper loop rearanging? Thanks dudes. www.peterkonig.com/2006 Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/19429-renoise-and-phatmatik-pro/ Share on other sites
Guest 2780
hmm i think its QUITE A bIT better to rearrange loops with renoise itself, imho the whole thing with the renoise and drillnbass is the renoise itself and not some plugin controlled by it specially when in renoise you have so much more different "fucking up the beat" functions Edited April 4, 2007 by 2780 Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/19429-renoise-and-phatmatik-pro/#findComment-395606 Share on other sites
ten fingers ten toes
well the problem is the 09xx command in renoise isn't terribly accurate. It's a terrific tool no doubt but if you're really particular about where you chop your loops you should either do it in a sample editor ahead of time or use something like this. you might not know though, that if you just chop your loop up somewhere else, stick it all in one folder, then you can just drag all samples into one instrument, go to the instrument editor and select "generate drum kit" and it will map each slice to a different note, starting at the base note (typically c-4). Guest smellybug
I found a way to go... just divided the sample by 16 in Phatmatik which happened to work, then use different keys in Renoise as opposed to the 09xx method...kinda gets me the same thing, just that I can use some of phatmatik's adjustments on the actual slices. I may be doing something reduntantly, but it's working good. Thanks you guys. Guest smellybug
actually cancel that...can't use the volume control on Phat...so f&ckit. It could be good for other things though...just not the beat.
