a rave old skool track

well I've never posted anything in here before so I'm sure youre excited to hear my important work...

This is a rave/old skool/jungle track with piano chords and pitched up breaks all that good stuff, its a bit cheesy but thats how its meant to be, innit. I'm trying to make some stuff to play at some raves in the woods this summer which I have been asked to be the jungle/old skool man for, the rest of them are crusty psy trance wankers.

I welcome criticism and suggestions. would you dance to this in a night time outdoor illegal rave scenario?

a great track for the 'ard kore raver

I like the vibe of this. Amen has a nice clear feel to it and has nice rollin' feel. I feel musically it felt a little dull for me though. Needed something to give a bit of that 'ooo feeling'. Like the general vibe of this though. I'd be eager to hear more in this style.

musically i like this, but the bass is kinda slim, and its all thin. its kind of like wisp or squaepusher-lite.

Yeah im thinking the bass needs beefing out a bit more... I find it hard to judge sometimes, need to try a few different peoples speakers to be sure.

sounds ok, nice edits, but i think the sub needs to be at least an octave lower and piano sounds a bit stale, maybe some dirty reverb would help or possibly combine with some good ol hardcore stabs?

algo - totally agree on the stabs, couldnt get any to work quite as I liked when I was making it.

I like what I hear but it feels like there should be more parts to "change it up stylee!"

For some reason I kept wanting to hear a hoover in this but it was nice. Perhaps a bit too long without any sort of awesome change up. Perhaps a key change toward the end?

I used to have my whole 60meg hard drive full of .mod/.it/.s3m/.xm's like this. Awesome!
