is this song wack?

i have been all over the godamn place lately musically. this song went through 3 iterations of mixing, including one thru a big ass SSL board. and i still dunno what to think of it as ive worked on it too long and have that weird non-objectivity you get w/a track after a while.

its a remix of a local guy called mr. andersonic

you might consider giving the vocals a little break somewhere in there

the drums and bass are good but the

i dont like the main vocal thing either.

the bass, almost sounds like a daft punk lick minus being a talk box.

it's good, but dub it up a bit.

less vocals (with reverb sometimes?)

maybe have a breakdown with the bass pitched down an octave.

Ha, that's what I was going to say.

There's some good bits in there that could be edited into a cool song but the vocals are annoying me.

this is pretty tight. If anything, i would have used another source for the bass.

vocal gets very annoying... though you've done some nice stuff with it.

bass sound sounds straight out of a box... dull.

but overall, yeah.. not bad.

Nice remix I reckon, I'd agree with the comments about dubbing it up though, some careful use of delay and filtering could spice up the vocals nicely I think!

im not sure i agree with the adding effects suggestions. the song sounds fantastic as it already is. The dry sound is what i like about it, reminds me of Mr. oizo meets electroclash.

Something about this takes me back to '89. I liked it and then I didn't. It's hard to pinpoint how this song really makes me feel. Reminds me of a remix you'd here as a b-side on a tape handed to you by some rap guy trying to get street cred in the late 80's. It's actually kinda cool, but seems more like a novelty track.

Its starts off kind of annoyingly. After the sting section comes in its pretty awesome.

i like this... but yeah... the vocals need a break... i for one like the "it takes 2" sample... i'm keeping this!

yea that was the idea. its a remix for a local bk guy who does like sampler to tape ghetto tek songs that are really simple and really grimey and good. i was going for a little more polish on the grime but trying to keep it sorta 'old school' with the loops and thinks everywhere.

now that I listen to this again, I like it. If you had the synth stuff added near the end, throughout ,it'd be even better but I s'pose it's just as good as is.

This is fucking awful but pretty funny those vocals have to go for a walk far away, the more it goes on the more hilarious it gets
