True, but so is my Nord Modular G1 and it rips balls off of horses!

 

I dunno for some reason Im so not sold on wavetable it's crazy. What am I missing out on?

i'm not sure about the new Nord, but otherwise wavetables are cool for subtractive synthesis cause they can produce very rich waveforms. things like morphing/scanning of waveforms are possible and provide interesting timbre dynamics hardly obtainable with typical analogue VCO systems.

 

of course, filters need to be ANALOGUE!
