umm can someone tell me, are those drum sounds actually from fruity loops?

They don't sound much like fruity loops samples, but i think what he's saying is that they sound generic.

What i meant to say is that it sounds too minimalistic. But this could work as a buildup to some melodies. It's hard to tell from only a sample. Start posting full tunes.

It's a stupid thing to say. Drums are drums, really, and it's all in if you think they fit or not. Too bad that techno has turned from genuine music making enthusiasm to some "if i've heard it before it's crap" kind of avant-garde mentality. Your track probably isn't that great, and the drum samples are probably too thin sounding, but that dosen't legitimise taking the piss out of you.

for fuck's sake tarsier. sort it out mate. how about this - go onto that big search engine thing, what's it called - Google, that's it.......type in "drum samples".....click on something that appears until you find some free samples to download. and don't give me that crap about not being about to use .wav files again.....
