I've been using voxengo's free frequency analyser

i added the pink line (my guess at the average level i want for each frequency) and the red circle showing the mid range dip

P.S. don't feed the trolls (Tarsier is a dup who doesn't seriously want to know anything).

Renoise has one of these built in and I can't help but imagine I should use it more often. Sometimes Ill look up and go "hmm, big dip there in the middle" and then go back to tracking lol.

got a bit too samey for me, but i like some of the 303 lines in there quite a bit. a bit too restricted vibewise though.

the track at around 49~ and before/after is really good.
