It's me again, joshier.

Just thought I'd post my latest track up..

My friend made a cover of 'Sunglasses At Night' by Cory Hart, and so I done a remix of what he sent me.

It's quite funny, I never heard the original track, and it's actually some really fucking cheesy 80's pop track.

Here we go, this is really good!!!! Sounds distinctively non-amatuer..... like the beat and attention to detail. Good sounds!!!! Love the floating vocal samples and the "oooh" choral stabs. Great job, yo!!!!

Excellent track. For someone who knows the original original, you do a good job of delaying recognition to the last third or so.

When I came to finishing the track 2 nights ago, I thought, this is just like aphex twin, giving out a mix that has no relation to the original song.

I thought my friend might be unhappy about it, but he's over the moon.

Seriously mate, I've spent 3 years doing a Music Technology degree and rarely come across any graduates that have production that sounds like that.

Sometimes I want to do it, but I prefer gritty production on my music.

Fair play to you though, that track sounds awsome, really well made.

So this is actually pretty badass, which I don't find myself getting a chance to say very often. Great production, catchy as hell. I put it on a mix and I listen to it when I drive around. I know the original track, and it uh. Well, it sucks. Grats on making a bad track awesome.

Yeah, I think the melody side on this remix is lacking in my eyes..it's not very consistent .. that's my fault.. lack of planning.. I just went in and done it.
