Paint by numbers dubstep bassline help

what can i do with either my modular synth or computer plugins to achieve this sound ?

 

 

edit: i should clarify its track 1 i want to emulate/rip off

From what i've heard/tried with dubstep , the trick to getting the generic throbbing bassline sound is to use the mod section to hook up the frequency of your filter to you lfo rate, and then set the LFO rate/amount to where you get the throbbing sound you want. other than that i don't know much of what kind of production (although i would guess a good bit of distorsion would help).

Just taking a quick listen here at work, I'm going to guess some layered osc's, a sine/square combo perhaps, detuned probably pretty low on the range of your LPF with a bunch of reso perhaps? Not 100% sure, I think Ill try and recreate this when I get home for fun.
