how on earth did you compose on this thing, i had to write my own sequencing program in basic years ago to even make sound off it. is there somehow a way to midi trigger it like midi nes?

is this a program made recently for the commodore or did it exist back in the 64s day?

MicroRhythm along with MicroDisco, MicroLatin, MicroVocals and MicroTuned was part from a set of music creation software series developed by Simon Pick for Commodore 64/128. MicroRhythm used a real sampled sounds and was essentially a drum-machine that had the same layout as other micro- versions. It was published by Firebird in 1986. and was priced £1.99. All micro- versions had three modes: 'BARS' mode was used to create individual patterns and 'SONG' mode to align patterns in desired order to create a tune (exactly as modern pattern-based music sequencers do). There was also a third Real-Time mode for playing with the keyboard. Simple Flam effect and Pitch adjust for every sample were also possible, as well as the main tempo change.

Did anyone else hear the insane level of high pitched noise in the background through the whole thing? It was causing major ear fatigue at the end. Those with tinnitus might not hear it, it was awefully high up (I would guess somewher near 20khz).

That asside, the track was pretty jammin' all things considered. Can't wait to hear more from it.
