EXP043 - HALFADDER - ROBOTS WILL LOVE RELIGION EP

1-exp043.jpg

Halfadder's debut EP Robots Will Love Religion is just an initial taste of whats to come from Ohio's new master of modern day techno. Glitched out and drenched in bass, this four tracker surprises with its surprising yet cohesive twists and turns. Found sound drums and effects create a truly original techno sound which is a hard thing to come by these days. Watch for more from Halfadder and his other projects in the very near future. Fantastic artwork from Witchbeam.

Ohio based collective, Experimedia, known for its diverse net-label catalog, events, and Molotov Records vinyl imprint, expands its repertoire by introducing its hard-copy cd catalog with its first release limited and numbered to 350. After three years in the making, this first release guides the listener through a seamless and diverse spectrum of deeply processed electronic, acoustic, and found sounds. This album takes the listener through feelings of melancholy and distance and is best experienced seamlessly beginning to end. listening to the clips, sounds good. glad to see experimedia active.

Clips sound excellent! Very cool news! Time to dust off my piggy bank. There is such a wonderful back catalog of free digital releases(fieldtriqp, milieu, asymmetrical head, mosca, plantre, bazaar, awt, wrexsoul, etc.) from Experimedia. Any plans to give any of those a CD release?

eep! lol! not really a logo in this case...just specific to the theme of the album.

lo-fi...maybe at some point...but for now we are looking for new unreleased full length material...hopefully we get submissions from artists who have released on our net catalog. ;p We will be investing quite a bit of time and energy into developing the physical catalog and redesigning the site over the next year and beyond. We have some excellent worldwide (physical and digital) distribution opportunities coming our way. Currently working on a custom signature package design here at my print shop which we will be introducing with expcd-002.

got my copy in the mail yesterday and only listened to it once but i'm very happy with this album, jeremy. three songs that really stood out were celosia, strand and insoma. very intense, moody and dark music. love it! i cant wait to listen to this on headphones.

re: asymmetrical head cd, excellent. also looking forward to that new album by me. i hear its coming along quite nicely.
