A BoC dream

Hello all. I would like to tell you about a dream I had last night.

I was seeing BoC live, but it was a bit "meh". So I wandered over to the merch table and the guy from my local record shop was manning it. I asked if he had the new BoC album, like any secret copies, and he reached into his bag and brought out a weird turquoise coloured plastic thing that was roughly the same shape and size of an ipod.

I thought "cool", some weird new album design and looked at the price tag. It was £2000. I said "no way", but then the guy showed me that this thing had a laser that when pointed at a wall, displayed the BoC logo. I was unimpressed and left the venue, slightly sick in the stomach that BoC would rip off their fans like that.

So, would you buy the new album for £2000? What if it had a built-in laser?

Today I dreamed I got my hands on Catalogue 3, sort of. My mother had visited some friend of hers and she said something like "yeah, look, she's got an album of them music people you like, I think, anyway I brought this for you, she didn't seem to mind me taking it" - it was a green unfoldable cardboard sleeve, parts of it came off, I took it apart only to discover that the actual disc in it was nothing but Twoism, even the cover art of Twoism was inside. It was pretty depressing, I was going to give it back. Then I discovered there was a hidden extra disc, within the cardboard. People were supposed to miss it or only find it by accident. It was a blank CD with no image on it, and I thought, this is the real thing, most likely, but when I put it in the player, it said there was just 1 track on it and that one was just about 2 minutes. It was Spectrum. I was disappointed, but I thought, well, this is proper CD quality now at least.
