zircon B started out as a garage remix of beyonce (for my friends daughter) but it mutated into a 182bpm jungly affair with very little beyonce left in it

i have virtually no enthusiasm for writing stuff like this

but i needed to make some dancefloor orientated junglesque stuff for (some) gigs

chopping up breaks bores me

 

i miss having synths and drum machines and a 4 track

 

pine fresh is the kind of thing i like making - i'm trying to approach songwriting in the same way as i used to before i got a computer in 2004.

the first one was pretty lame, the second was lame except for when the drums all kick in half way through, but that acid bass line ruins everything

imho: pine fresh should skip the intro and get right to the lead

i'm tired of stuff that builds and builds it's predictable and boring

pine fresh is good though it just seems of that ilk

i like zircon b a lot better what effect did you use on big-booty's voice

is that a bitcrusher or what i need to learn how to use it

i like chinese burn pretty well too but it could be more muscular

it's like watching ballet, compared to something like squarepusher which is more like watching capoeira, figuratively

the first one just sounds like you're doing breakcore for the sake of it cos it's the only lucrative way to get a gig these days (I don't blame you)
