a side project thing. way back when i first started making music it was stuff like this. beats and samples, music collages. whats up on the page now is 3 new ones and 2 from last year. i like working on this kind of music every now and again for fun.

Interesting but I kinda agree with tht! tne that what I'm hearing sounds a little too sparce. The first track for instance is just too minimal for me. Definitely like the deranged feel of that funky electric guitar but it needed more. Going by Jynxy's comment I'll now check out 'nineteen'. Okay checked it and the 2nd half is quite lush. The first half just didn't grab me but the 2nd half has quite a nice dose of funk and soul. Something Prefuse 73 about this one.

yeah, simplicity is the game with these. i just about finished another one today, pretty simple but i spent a long time trying to get it just right. i really like this one. i'll probably post it in a bit. still not just right, but close enough. thanks for checking them out.

added tracks "meanwhile" and "rahmen" deleted the older ones. all 5 tracks are fresh mint new now.

excellent man, i love them all. meanwhile, what a perfect title for that track. great use of sampling in this track, beautiful. i also enjoyed witch reason, the haunting little vocal bit was a nice touch.

in the interest of full disclosure, the pads are not mine, none of the music is mine. all of the music from the thadeus profile is sample based. rap songs without raps. like dj shadow's entroducing, not in quality but that style of music. madlib, mf doom's special herbs, odd nosdam, j dilla etc. i sequence the cut up beats and samples, add fx sparingly and bake at 450. i love making these little short tunes. thanks for listening and the great feedback:)

excellent man, i'm a fan with just about all the artists just mentioned... i love the instrumental aspect of hip hop... a large portion of my album collection is dedicated to it. keep doin what you are doin and i'll keep a listenin'.
