Lights Set North

why does the name "lights set north" ring bells in my head

then i thought..."octex ???"

then i googled you and found a reference to "octopilot"

which could be where im getting the "oct" thing from

i usually remember names and things forever but i'm guessing here that maybe i have that track but assumed it was by octopilot

how old is octopilot and would i have it in my EKT folder from a couple years ago?

Octo Pilot is the second track from my never released album Marshmellow Farm. And yes I posted it here. I made it in 2005.

Octopilot is the best track by far, its just got this lush meditative state about it, especially on headphones, killer melody swirls.

was expecting a thick overdriven chorusy lead to blast in, that would be cool

Interesting vibe. Personally I found this a little dull. Some interesting chords and harmonies but it doesn't seem to go anywhere beyond be it a fairly pleasant loop. Sorry. Oh hold on I quite like the church bells at the end. Yeah you need to do more with this.
