Who releases a new album and only plays two live gigs?

So as we all know Squarepuasher released a new album last year and only played two live gigs, one at KoKo which was before the album release and one at The John Peel gig at the electric ballroom. I don't understand most people would do a tour like he has before but no not this time. I may be wrong and have missed a few live dates outside the UK but can anyone enlighten me on this and why?

Is it really true he's in the US trying to break into the US market!!

Ok and he's going to be playing the Southbank on the 16th July.... CU there....

what makes u feel like he has to perform ANY live shows? Is up 2 him, and he can do what he wants

Most artists like to play live and give their fans something back. I don't expect him to or demand he plays live gigs just think it's slightly odd thats all..
