The Birthday tape track (incandescent autumn) is really good. Some of his other material on the blamcast site is really good as well.

Sounds like it was made in Reason or something. I'm thinking how awesome that track would be if it were remade on a Little Phatty or something Oooh

Yeah, I do everything with $99 worth of software. I'd love to get some real synths. My composing style is changing, I'm getting much better at playing "live".. Unfortunately, I don't really have a good way to record and edit live playing, so most of my new "tracks" are just one-time things that no one hears but me. If I had some synths and a few tape decks, I'd probably put out a new single every week.

Dood, get some synths & something to record. PLEASE! I'm a bit confused when you say that you don't have a way to record & edit live playing. Do you not use a sequencer then? You could just record your parts as MIDI, edit, bounce down to audio & put that track a week out

it's pretty tedious. fl studio's piano roll basically sucks for editing live input.

It can be tedious editing content that way in any sequencer piano roll to be honest. Much better if you can play your parts live quite well, hit record & then lay things down okay to start with.
