WOO HOO! :yeah:

Super Furry Animals have now unveiled the track listing for their next album and also named their new single in the process.

After revealing the new LP's title as Hey Venus! earlier this year, we can confirm the album will feature eleven tracks and will be released on August 27th by Rough Trade.

A single called Show Your Hand will precede the long-player by two weeks on August 13th. The single is also the first new material from the Super Furry Animals since 2005's Love Kraft album.

This week meanwhile, sees the release of Furry Selection - a new dub compilation for Trojan Records by band member Guto Pryce. You can read further details on the collection here.

Hey Venus! Tracklisting:

01. The Gateway Song

02. Runaway

03. Show Your Hand

04. The Gift

05. Neo Consumer

06. Into The Night

07. Baby Ate My Eight Ball

08. Carbon Dating

09 Suckers

10. Battersea Odyssey

I love SFA... haven't got round to listening to the last one yet though... always glad to hear there's more on the way!

Love Kraft was excellent I thought, far better than Phantom Power, which was definitely patchy and just too long.

Really looking forward to this as it means more live shows and they are one of my favourite live acts. I've not heard so many bands pay as much attention to detail when it comes to sound and lighting as they do.

Get in.

Yeah, hopefully they add some US dates- haven't gotten around to seeing them yet

edit: Battersea Odyssey is a sweet track title btw...

Yeah, the cover art is kinda horrendous, but I'm sure the album will be great as always...

Along the same lines, have you seen the art for the upcoming Animal Collective record? OMG!
