SCONES TO DIE FOR
The hoover patch, autochord, easy to program, a classic rave synth. I want one. www.vintagesynth.com/roland/ajuno2.shtml http://www.sonicstate.com/synth_reviews/_i...=20&print=1 Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/22148-roland-alpha-juno-2/#findComment-458506 Share on other sites

Guest analogue wings
What everyone else said, plus Roland's most acidic filter after 303/101/202. Also this track is (to my MKS-50 owning ears) all Alpha Juno: digital_boy___gimme_a_fat_beat__1989_blue_flowers_records__mentalp_.mp3Fetching info... acid1
I'm not even 1000% all those people who use hoovers bought a Juno, I was under the impression that most of them just sampled Mentasm. Guest analogue wings
If you own the actual synth, you can create infinite tonal variations on the hoover. Like the somewhat mild hoovering in the track I posted. Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/22148-roland-alpha-juno-2/#findComment-463347 Share on other sites
ten fingers ten toes
So really you just need 3 Square waves at different octaves with PWM modulated by an LFO, run through a chorus? No? Guest analogue wings
Except the Alpha Juno only has one oscillator Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/22148-roland-alpha-juno-2/#findComment-463506 Share on other sites
ten fingers ten toes
Yah well I don't have one and the wiki link posted above says hoover is 3 square waves at different octaves, so Also, vintagesynth says the Juno-2 has 3 DCO's. kokoon
that's prolly still 1 DCO capable of saw/pul, PLUS a noise, PLUS a sub. looks like one to me. The Juno 2 has 3 seperate oscillators, as mentioned above. No it doesn't you fucking spoon. It has a single DCO per voice. Because it's a DCO, it can generate a mix of waveforms off one oscillator. Each voice also has a sub oscillator slaved to the main oscillator. Sub oscillators aren't included in a traditional oscillator count, since they are slaved to the main oscillator and can't be independently pitched. You do know that Vintage Synth Explorer is notoriously inaccurate and hasn't been updated for 7 years, right? Try a site that knows what rhe fuck it's on about, like Sealed or Synthmania. Hence in my Nord Modularized example the next two OSC's are slaved to the orignal and cannot be pitched independantly of it.
