Guest Iain C
Here's a VST plugin I made, it doesn't really have a name. It's inspired by Leafcutter John's forester but it's designed to be easy to use. Actually it's desgined just for me but as I asked questions about Synthedit here, I thought I'd post it. You can load two wave files into it, which it then puts through granulisers. You can tweak the controls, and mangle, layer and pan these sounds into nice droning textures. There's a sub oscillator as well that you can use. All the bits have switchable filters with LFOs. I'm not sure how it responds to MIDI yet so I wouldn't try and automate it. Use at your own risk! To install, just unzip the dll and the folder "na2" to your VST folder. If you don't make boring drone/noise music you might not get too much out of this, but enough chat, try my first plugin if you're curious, take the piss out of me if you hate it. Guest Iain C
OK then, here's just a really quick example of the sorts of sounds it can make, this is done with just one instance of my plugin and nothing else. Source sounds are a sample from "aloysius" by the cocteau twins and some birdsong. nexamplecut.mp3Fetching info...
